Congress Means Bad Governance, Corruption: Union Minister JP Nadda Slams Party At Rohtak Rally

Union Minister and BJP President JP Nadda on Sunday criticised the Congress party, accusing it of fostering poor governance, corruption, and criminal activities.

Speaking at a public rally in Rohtak, Haryana, Nadda claimed that under Congress's rule, large industrialists took advantage of impoverished farmers. He also highlighted issues like rampant unemployment and jobs being distributed through a 'Kharchi, Parchi' system.

Nadda further alleged that during Congress's tenure in Haryana, land scams were prevalent. Wealthy individuals reportedly seized lands from poor farmers. He stated that intelligent students were left unemployed due to the unfair job distribution system. Nadda asserted that Congress engages in vote bank politics by creating divisions among communities and castes.

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also voiced criticism against Congress and AAP for failing to deliver on their manifesto promises. Singh mentioned that wherever Congress governed in Haryana, the state's condition deteriorated. He accused Rahul Gandhi of disrespecting India on international platforms and urged people not to trust either Congress or AAP.

Singh highlighted India's economic achievements under BJP's leadership. "Bharat in 2014 was 11th in terms of economy," he said, adding that within ten years, India has become the fifth-largest economy globally. Singh expressed confidence that India will become the third-largest economy and a developed nation by 2047.

The Union Cabinet recently approved the 'One Nation, One Election' proposal. This initiative aims for simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections along with urban body and panchayat polls within 100 days. The legislative assembly election in Haryana is scheduled for October 5, with vote counting set for October 8 alongside Jammu and Kashmir.

Nadda praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, stating that India is emerging as a "bright spot" on the global stage. He reiterated his belief that Congress's governance style involves creating societal conflicts for political gain. Meanwhile, Singh emphasised India's economic growth trajectory under BJP governance.

The upcoming elections are crucial for both parties as they vie for control over Haryana's legislative assembly. With significant economic progress made under BJP rule, both Nadda and Singh aim to convince voters of their party's capability to lead India towards becoming a developed nation by 2047.
