Congress Candidate List: Kanhaiya Kumar Vs Manoj Tiwari In North East Delhi; Former Punjab CM Channi In List
For the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, Congress on Sunday announced 10 more candidates' names for Delhi, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh. The list included some hot seats where a neck-and-neck contest is expected between BJP and Congress' India bloc. In the national capital, Congress placed Kanhaiya Kumar as the INDIA bloc's candidate, who will be backed by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), against BJP's sitting MP Manoj Tiwari.
Both parties have made the North East Delhi contest a battle between two big faces from Bihar citing a massive number of migrant residents.

Congress also fielded veteran leader JP Agarwal from Chandni Chowk against BJP's Praveen Khandelwal, the secretary of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), while Udit Raj will contest from North West Delhi (reserved for SC seat).
The grand old party has also announced former Chief Minister of Punjab and senior leader Charanjit Singh Channi's name to contest Lok Sabha elections from Jalandhar seat.
Senior Congress leader Sukhpal Singh Khaira from Sangrur, and Dharamveer Gandhi to contest from Patiala in a fresh list of candidates.
Gurjeet Singh Aujla has been placed against BJP candidate and former envoy to the US, Taranjit Singh Sandhu, in the contest from Amritsar constituency.
The new joiner Ujjwal Rewati Raman Singh, the son of veteran SP leader Rewati Raman Singh, has got the ticket from Allahabad seat in Uttar Pradesh. Ujjwal had joined the Congress earlier this month.
