Chilling CCTV Footage Shows Man Shot At Point Blank Range In Front Of Child In UP

In Uttar Pradesh's Shahjahanpur, a disturbing incident unfolded as a man carrying his young daughter on his shoulders fell victim to a shocking act of violence. The victim, identified as 28-year-old Shoaib, was targeted by armed miscreants riding a motorcycle.

The perpetrators shot him in the head, leaving him critically injured. Shoaib's immediate rescue efforts led him to a nearby hospital, and he has since been transferred to Bareilly for advanced medical treatment.

The entire harrowing episode was captured by a surveillance camera, providing a visual record of the tragic event. The video footage depicts Shoaib walking with his daughter atop his shoulders. As he continues his stroll, two individuals on a motorbike pass by him. However, their actions take a sinister turn as they abruptly halt, pivot, and observe Shoaib. Subsequently, one of the assailants, armed with a weapon, approaches Shoaib and fires a point-blank shot to his head.

In the aftermath of the shooting, the armed attacker rejoins the waiting individuals on the motorcycle, and the trio swiftly departs the scene of the crime.

The video further reveals a scene of concern, as local residents rush to Shoaib's aid and assist his daughter, who was thrown to the ground during the attack.

Shahjahanpur Superintendent of Police, Ashok Meena, disclosed that the distressing incident unfolded at approximately 7:30 pm on August 13. Law enforcement officials are actively scrutinizing the footage to gather crucial information, including the identification of the accused involved in this tragic incident.
