CCTV Footage Shows Stray Dogs Rescued A Boy Attacked By Pit Bull In Ghaziabad

In a shocking incident, a 15-year-old boy was attacked by an aggressive pit bull on Tuesday in Delhi's Ghaziabad. According to the reports, the boy was later admitted to a nearby hospital where his condition is critical. A CCTV video of the incident that is doing round the internet shows a boy, who later identified as Altaf, floored and the furious dog charging over him.

The video also shows that locals and bypassers stood there and opted to see the scene instead of helping the little boy.

The CCTV video further shows that the boy himself showed courage by pushing the dog away, standing and running to a safer place, but the dog still followed him.

Meanwhile, a few street dogs charged at the pit bull and the boy managed to get inside the house safely. The reports said the owners of the Pit Bull recently moved to Ghaziabad, where residents had requested the family not to keep a dangerous breed, but the family did not listen to them.

Talking to the media, local police said that they have got information about such a video doing round the internet, but they have not received any formal complaint related to the matter yet.

It was also reported that Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation has seized the aggressive pit bull.

Earlier last month, the Central Government issued directives to impose a complete ban on the sale and breeding of 23 breeds of ferocious dogs, including Pit bulls. The banned dogs' list includes American Bulldog, Rottweiler, Mastiffs, and others after several cases of attack by such aggressive breeds were reported.
