BSF Marks 11th International Day of Yoga with Mega ‘Yoga Sangam’ Event at Nizamuddin

On the occasion of the 11th International Day of Yoga, the Border Security Force (BSF) organized a mega Yoga Sangam program at its Nizamuddin facility, in line with the Common Yoga Protocol (CYP). Daljit Singh Chawdhary, Director General of BSF, attended the event as the chief guest and participated in the session alongside BSF personnel and their families.

More than 400 Bordermen, along with their family members, led by the DG BSF, took part in the morning Yoga Sangam program to mark the 11th International Day of Yoga - 2025. The event was conducted in accordance with this year's theme, "Yoga for One Earth, One Health." The session was carefully guided by a group of trained BSF yoga instructors and aimed to spread awareness about the importance of maintaining physical fitness along with mental and spiritual well-being through yoga.

Yoga has played a vital role in enhancing the mental and physical robustness of BSF personnel, helping them carry out their duties effectively in demanding and challenging conditions.

The International Day of Yoga was also observed at all BSF locations, including Frontier Headquarters, Sector Headquarters, Battalion Headquarters, Training Institutions, and border outposts.
