BJP MLA Promises To Make Roads As Smooth As Hema Malini's Cheeks, Video Goes Viral
Following RJD chief Lalu Prasad's controversial remark comparing Bihar roads to Bollywood actor Hema Malini's cheek in 2005, another politician has now made a similarly sexist remark.
This time, Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, a BJP MLA from Jabera in Damoh district, Madhya Pradesh, drew criticism for comparing the roads in his constituency to the cheeks of Hema Malini, a senior leader from his own party and a renowned actress of her time.

During his tour as part of Vikas Yatra ahead of the upcoming assembly elections, Lodhi questioned the condition of the roads in a village and assured the locals that Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan had approved road construction projects, which would result in the roads becoming as smooth as Hema Malini's cheeks.
Furthermore, Lodhi made additional inappropriate comments, suggesting that Hema Malini had aged and asked the villagers to name a new heroine. When they mentioned actor Katrina Kaif, he dismissively remarked that she, too, had aged, demanding they name a fresher face.
This controversial statement by the BJP MLA has since gone viral on social media, with the Congress party condemning his remarks, claiming they insulted women.
