Bangladeshi Adult Actress Riya Barde Arrested In Maharashtra

A Bangladeshi adult film actress Riya Barde was Ulhasnagar in Maharashtra for staying in India with fake Indian passport.

She was residing in the country with her family members - mother Ruby Sheikh, father Arvind Barde, brother Ravindra alias Riyaz Sheikh, sister Ritu alias Moni Sheikh. They have been booked under Sections 420, 465, 468, 479, 34 and 14 A of the IPC.

She allegedly had links with production houses involved in porn movies. Also, Riya was involved in Raj Kundra's production and appeared in several adult films.

The case came to light when Riya's friend, Prashant Mishra, discovered her Bangladeshi origins and illegal status in India. He reported this to the police, leading to a review of her documents and the unearthing of the entire incident.

Sangram Malkar, the police sub-inspector who led the investigation, said, "During the probe, we discovered that Riya's mother, Anjali, is originally from Bangladesh and was residing illegally in India with her two daughters, including Riya, and her son. Anjali had married Arvind Barde, a resident of Amravati, by falsely claiming to be from West Bengal. She later obtained an Indian passport by submitting fake birth certificates and other fraudulent documents for herself and her children to establish Indian citizenship."

Anjali, Riya's mother, falsely claimed West Bengal as her origin before marrying a man from Amravati. Using fake birth certificates and other documents, she managed to acquire an Indian passport for herself and her family.

The police investigation revealed that Riya's mother and stepfather are currently residing in Qatar, while efforts are ongoing to locate her brother and sister.
