Badminton Star Saina Nehwal To Take Holy Dip At Triveni Sangam, Praises UP Government
Indian badminton star and Olympic medalist Saina Nehwal made her way to Prayagraj to participate in the ongoing Maha Kumbh, one of the world's largest spiritual gatherings. Accompanied by her father, Nehwal took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam-the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers-and expressed her awe at the grand scale of the event.
What Nehwal Says?

Speaking to ANI, Nehwal shared her excitement, saying, "We have come to Triveni Sangam, and it feels like a massive festival. I feel fortunate to be here and can't wait to experience the atmosphere. It's incredible to see people enjoying themselves and their deep faith in God."
She also praised the Uttar Pradesh government for its meticulous arrangements, stating, "Hats off to the UP government for their hard work. The tents and facilities are wonderful. Where else in the world can you witness such a spiritual festival? People from across the globe are coming here, and it's truly a remarkable event."
Nehwal took the opportunity to pray for the nation's progress, the success of its youth, and the good health of the elderly. Her visit adds to the growing list of prominent figures who have participated in the Maha Kumbh, which began on Paush Purnima (January 13, 2025) and will continue until Mahashivratri on February 26.
