Ayodhyas Streets Blossom with Divine Floral Decor Ahead of PM Modis Visit
Ayodhya is set to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a divine makeover as streets are adorned with intricate floral decorations, creating a mesmerizing ambiance for his upcoming visit.
In preparation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Ayodhya on December 30, the temple town in Uttar Pradesh is undergoing a transformation, with streets being adorned with vibrant floral decorations to create a divine ambiance.
Floral Decorations Transform Ayodhya
On Thursday, workers were busy wrapping strings of orange and yellow marigolds around ornamental lamp posts installed along the newly redeveloped Ram Path, a stretch of road that now carries design elements depicting religious symbols on top of the lamp posts.
The decoration efforts will continue on Friday, with teams of workers from across the country meticulously crafting artistic floral formations at Ram Katha Park. The designs draw inspiration from Lord Ram, his bow and arrow, Lord Hanuman, religious tilak, and other patterns.
Workers Create Floral Masterpieces
Lalit Kumar Singh, a worker from Sitapur who is involved in the floral decorations, expressed his excitement about Ayodhya's transformation. He described the process of creating a floral image of Lord Ram holding his bow and arrow, which required 40-45 minutes and approximately 7-8 kilograms of flowers.
These floral creations will be used to decorate various locations in the city, including Ram Path, Dharm Path, the airport, and the railway station.
Flowers from Across India Adorn Ayodhya
Hundreds of workers are engaged in the decoration work, and around 300 quintals of flowers have been sourced from cities like Kolkata, Delhi, Ghazipur, and others. Marigold, chrysanthemum, orchid, and anthurium are among the flowers being used.
PM Modi to Inaugurate Key Projects
During his visit, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to inaugurate an international airport and the redeveloped Ayodhya railway station. He will also inaugurate four newly redeveloped, widened, and beautified roads in Ayodhya, including Ram Path, to enhance accessibility to the upcoming Ram temple.
Ayodhya Prepares for Grand Ram Temple Consecration
A grand Ram temple is currently under construction in Ayodhya, and the consecration ceremony is set to take place on January 22, with the prime minister expected to attend. In anticipation of the large crowds that are expected for the consecration ceremony, the city is being decked up to create a festive atmosphere.
Surya Stambhs and Posters Adorn the City
Along a prominent street in Ayodhya, imposing sun-themed columns known as Surya Stambhs are being installed. Additionally, large posters featuring images of the upcoming Ram temple and the new airport, along with messages hailing Ayodhya as a city of Maryada, Dharm, and Sanskriti, have been put up throughout the temple town.
