Arunachal Pradesh Aims for Comprehensive Development Under CM Pema Khandu

Chief Minister Pema Khandu has stated that Team Arunachal Pradesh is dedicated to transforming every sector and maintaining the state's development momentum to achieve a developed India by 2047. He made these remarks after attending a conference of chief ministers and deputy chief ministers from BJP-ruled states.

Prime Minister's Vision for 2047

During the conference, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah outlined their vision and roadmap for achieving Viksit Bharat by 2047. The event also featured guidance from Union Health Minister and BJP president J P Nadda, who urged the leaders to accelerate development in their respective states.

Khandu had a one-on-one meeting with Prime Minister Modi on Sunday. The Prime Minister's Office shared pictures from this meeting on X. Khandu later posted on X, "Team Arunachal is working day in and day out to transform every sector and maintain the state's pace of development and contribute significantly to realise the goal of developed India."

Focus on Welfare Schemes

The prime minister discussed various issues with the chief ministers and deputy chief ministers, emphasising the importance of ensuring that welfare schemes reach their intended beneficiaries. Sources indicated that Modi acknowledged the efforts of BJP-run governments in supporting different sections of society, particularly the poor.

Modi remarked, "Our party is working tirelessly to further good governance and fulfil the aspirations of the people." The mukhyamantri parishad organised by the BJP at regular intervals aims to review key schemes in states, follow best governance practices, and ensure the delivery of central government welfare initiatives.

The conference highlighted the commitment of BJP leaders to enhance governance and development across their states. This dedication aligns with the broader goal of achieving a developed India by 2047, as envisioned by Prime Minister Modi and other senior leaders.
