Amid Threat To Salman Khan's Life, Vivek Oberoi's Remark On Bishnoi Community Goes Viral

Following the shocking murder of Baba Siddique, fans are increasingly concerned for Salman Khan's safety. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, whose henchmen reportedly claimed responsibility for Siddique's death, has issued death threats to Salman Khan for hunting and killing two blackbucks while filming 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' in Rajasthan.

The blackbuck is regarded as sacred by the Bishnoi community. Amidst these threats and news of Salman's heightened security, a speech made by actor Vivek Oberoi about the Bishnoi community has resurfaced online and is now going viral.

In the resurfaced video, Vivek Oberoi praised the Bishnoi community in a speech believed to have been delivered last year. In the video, Vivek stated, "In every household, including mine, we feed cow's milk to kids. There's only one community in the whole world - the Bishnoi community - where if a fawn's mother dies, the Bishnoi mothers take it in their laps and feed them milk like they feed their kids. You won't find this anywhere else in the world."

Salman Khan was accused of hunting and killing two blackbucks in Rajasthan during the filming of his 1998 movie 'Hum Saath Saath Hain'.

He was sentenced to five years in prison but was later granted bail. The blackbuck holds a sacred status in the Bishnoi community, to which Lawrence Bishnoi belongs.

Lawrence first started threatening Salman in 2018, but the intensity of these threats escalated in 2023 when Salman's father, Salim Khan, received a death threat letter.

In a 2023 interview from Tihar Jail, Bishnoi openly declared that his sole purpose in life is to kill Salman Khan. Earlier this year, shots were fired at Salman's residence.

Following Baba Siddique's death, an individual claiming to be a member of Bishnoi's gang issued another warning to Salman. As a result of this new threat, security around Salman Khan has been further increased.
