Air India Launches Free Wi-Fi On Domestic & International Flights: Here's What You Must Know
Air India has launched complimentary Wi-Fi on its domestic and international flights, available on select aircraft. This new service allows multiple device connections, enhancing passenger connectivity and experience.
Air India has officially launched Wi-Fi internet connectivity services on its domestic and international flights, setting a new benchmark for in-flight technology.
The airline is now the first to offer Wi-Fi services on flights within India, marking a significant milestone for the company and its passengers.

Enhanced Connectivity on Modern Fleets
The new Wi-Fi service is available on Air India's widebody Airbus A350 and Boeing 787-9 aircraft, as well as select Airbus A321neo aircraft. Passengers can enjoy seamless connectivity on their devices—whether it's laptops, tablets, or smartphones running on iOS or Android operating systems—once the aircraft reaches an altitude of 10,000 feet.
Complimentary Service for a Limited Period
In a move to encourage passengers to make the most of this new offering, Air India is providing complimentary Wi-Fi services for an introductory period. This initiative is part of the airline’s ongoing pilot program that began with international routes. The Wi-Fi services have already been deployed on Air India’s Airbus A350, select Airbus A321neo, and Boeing B787-9 aircraft, serving popular international destinations like New York, London, Paris, and Singapore.
Simultaneous Device Connections
One of the standout features of Air India’s in-flight Wi-Fi service is the ability to connect multiple devices at the same time. Whether you're working, streaming, or browsing, passengers can stay connected across various platforms without needing to worry about device limitations.
The Future of In-Flight Connectivity
This move comes as part of Air India’s broader efforts to enhance the passenger experience and stay competitive in the modern airline industry. By offering complimentary Wi-Fi connectivity, Air India is not only improving the quality of its service but also ensuring that passengers can stay connected to their personal or professional lives while in the air.
With this new initiative, Air India is setting the bar for in-flight connectivity within India and on international routes, making it a prime choice for tech-savvy travellers.
