AIIMS INICET January 2024 Results Coming Soon: Here’s How To Check
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is set to release the AIIMS INICET January Result 2024 in the near future. Applicants who participated in the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) can check their results on the official AIIMS website at aiimsexams.ac.in.
The INI-CET is a prestigious national-level entrance examination for admission to postgraduate medical courses, such as MD and MS, across various Institutes of National Importance (INIs) in India. These include AIIMS New Delhi and its branches, JIPMER Puducherry, PGIMER Chandigarh, NIMHANS Bengaluru, and SCTIMST Trivandrum.
Examination Overview
The AIIMS INICET exam was conducted on 10 November 2024. The question paper comprised 200 questions, and candidates had three hours to complete the exam.
The allocation of seats for postgraduate courses in the participating institutes will be done online only. The seat allotment process will take place in at least two rounds, followed by an open round if required.
How To Check AIIMS INICET January Result 2024
Candidates who took the entrance test can follow these steps to download their results:
1. Go to the official AIIMS website at aiimsexams.ac.in.
2. Click on the 'AIIMS INICET January Result 2024' link on the homepage.
3. A new page will appear, prompting you to enter your login details.
4. After entering your credentials, click the 'Submit' button.
5. Your result will be displayed on the screen.
6. Download the result page and keep a printed copy for future reference.
Eligibility Criteria For Admission
Candidates' eligibility for admission to postgraduate courses at the participating institutions will be determined by their percentage scores in the INI-CET exam. The minimum percentile cut-off is as follows:
50th Percentile: For Unreserved (UR), including Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Sponsored, and Foreign Nationals.
45th Percentile: For candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Bhutanese nationals (for PGIMER Chandigarh only).
