Businessman Dies, Wife Hospitalised After Employee's Violent Attack in Agra

In a distressing incident in Gurugram, a businessman lost his life, and his wife sustained injuries after they were allegedly assaulted by an employee of the businessman's shop and his accomplices. Deputy Commissioner of Police City, Suraj Kumar Rai, detailed that the incident unfolded on Monday evening at the home of Dileep Gupta, a trader residing in Vijay Nagar Colony within the jurisdiction of Hariparwat Police Station in Agra. The assailants, including Gupta's servant who had been employed at his shop for four years, reportedly invaded the businessman's house. They not only physically assaulted the couple but also robbed their home before making their escape.

The aftermath of the attack saw the couple being rushed to a hospital in Agra. Tragically, Gupta was pronounced dead upon arrival by the medical team, while his wife was admitted for treatment of her injuries. The gravity of the situation has prompted law enforcement to take swift action.

Following a complaint lodged by Gupta's son, police have registered a case against the worker and his associates. Deputy Commissioner Rai confirmed that specialized teams have been assembled with the sole objective of apprehending the accused individuals.
