After noodles, Ramdev to make foray into khadi yoga wear

Bengaluru, Nov 16: A day after launching Patanjali's instant atta noodles, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev is all set to launch his own yogawear line, while giving a tough competition to big and popular brands like Adidas and Nike.

According to reports, Ramdev is also about to make his foray into low-priced health drinks, babycare and a wide range of beauty products.

While talking about his new venture, Ramdev told TOI that his yogawear Vastram will be made of khadi.

Ramdev's Patanjali eyes a turnover of Rs 5,000 this year.

Patanjali's ayurvedic 250 gm bottle honey is priced at Rs 70 only. To sell his newly-launched noodles, Ramdev has tied up with supermarket chains like Reliance Fresh, Big Bazaar and Nilgiris.

"We will set up five plants in Delhi NCR, Maharashtra, MP, UP and Karnataka to manufacture our products", Ramdev was quoted as saying.

Meanwhile, renowned wrestler from Haryana Sushil Kumar has been made the brand ambassador for Patanjali products campaign.
