Actress molestation case: Kerala women's commission chief alleges death threat
The commission filed a case against MLA P C George after he made insensitive comments against the victim in the molestation case
The Chairperson of Kerala's State Women Commission has alleged that she received a death threat on Thursday over a case pertaining to the actress molestation case. M C Josephine also alleged that a cover containing human feces was found in the mail.

The Kerala women's commission has been receiving backlash from supporters of P C George, an independent MLA, ever since they registered a case against the legislator. He was booked for his insensitive comments against a leading Malayalam actress who was molested in February this year. The commission has initiated legal proceedings against the MLA after he questioned the veracity of the actress' claims of being molested.
"This is intolerance towards women's reaction to issues. I will hand over the letters to the Director General of Police. Attacking me is equal to attacking all the women in Kerala since I represent them. I had been receiving the letters for quite some time now, but I was tolerant and did not file a complaint. I believe in showing maturity holding this post. I will not say that it is done by PC George's followers. But those letters can indicate many things," Josephine told the media on Thursday.
Previously, Josephine and George had engaged in a public spat over the issue of booking the legislator. On Thursday, the Chief of the women's commission alleged that she had been receiving death threats ever since a case was filed against the legislator.
The commission filed a case against the MLA in August this year for his derogatory statements. Josephine told the media on Thursday that she had been receiving anonymous death threats but on Thursday, baiters crossed all limits of decency by sending her human excreta.
