18 Doors Of Ram Temple To Be Carved In Hyderabad; Why It Matters?
As Ayodhya prepares for the grand inauguration of Ram Mandir on January 22, 2024, the focus shifts to the heart of the temple - the sanctum sanctorum. And guarding this sacred space are 18 magnificent doors, crafted with meticulous detail and unparalleled devotion in Hyderabad.
Anuradha Timbers International, a Hyderabad-based company, holds the honor of creating these awe-inspiring entrances. Each door stands tall at 8 feet, stretches 12 feet wide, and boasts a formidable 6 inches of thickness. But their true grandeur lies in the intricate carvings and the stories they whisper.

Sarath Babu, representative, of Anuradha Timbers International highlighted that the doors are exclusively fashioned from teak trees and intricately carved in the Nagara style by skilled artisans from Tamil Nadu. These elaborate carvings boast motifs of lotuses, peacocks, and diverse avian figures, reminiscent of the dominant third-century North Indian Nagara carving style. Adding to their opulence, all doors will feature gold plating.
The construction materials for the Ram Mandir encompass Rajasthan's Makran marble, Pink Sandstone, granite stone from Tamil Nadu and Telangana, alongside colored marbles sourced from Mandla, Madhya Pradesh. Notably, the endeavor utilized 4.7 lakh cubic feet of pink sandstone and 17 thousand white amrit stones from Bharatpur in Rajasthan.
The inauguration of Ram Mandir promises to be a nationwide celebration, not just in Ayodhya, but in every corner of India. As Ram Lalla finds his permanent abode, religious programs will unfold across 5 lakh temples, orchestrated by the dedicated efforts of RSS office-bearers.
Trust General Secretary Champat Roy emphasized that the entire country will resonate with Rammaya, urging followers of Sanatan Dharma to actively participate in religious events across temples nationwide.
The historic verdict by the Supreme Court on November 9, 2019, sanctioned the construction of the Ram Mandir at the Ram Janmabhoomi site. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the temple's construction on August 5, 2020.
