Hyderabad: Six-day-old baby girl allegedly kidnapped by woman from govt hospital
Hyderabad, July 3: In a bizarre incident, a six-day-old baby girl was allegedly kidnapped by a woman from a government hospital in Hyderabad's Sultan Bazaar on Monday.

The incident happened on Monday noon, when the woamn in purple saree who claimed herself to be a hospital staffer, approached the mothr of the baby and said that the infant needs to be vaccinated. The strange woman then took the baby from her mother on the pretext of getting her vaccinated and escaped from the hospital.
Based on the information gathered from CCTV footage, Hyderabad police have sent teams to Bidar to trace the child-lifter and bring the baby to the city.
Shiva Rao,Circle Inspector,Sultan Bazaar,said,'We have all the info regarding the case. In CCTV footage, we saw that she fled from hospital. Police investigation underway'
The couple lodged a complaint with the Sultan Bazaar police. The police found from the CCTV visuals that the stranger had fled from the hospital.
