Hyderabad Metro Timings Extended, Read Details Here
The Hyderabad Metro Rail has announced an extension in the operating hours for all terminal stations. Starting April 1, the last train will now leave at 11.45 pm instead of the current 11 pm from Monday to Friday. This adjustment aims to better serve the commuting needs of its passengers. Additionally, the first train on Sundays will begin operations at 7 am, ensuring that early weekend travelers are also accommodated.
In a bid to foster the use of public transportation among the youth and contribute to environmental conservation, the Hyderabad Metro Rail has decided to extend its Student Pass Offer. This scheme, which allows students to take 30 trips for the price of 20, will continue until March 31, 2026. The move is part of a broader effort to encourage more sustainable travel options within the city.

The Hyderabad Metro Rail is also concluding its Super Saver Holiday Offer (SSO) and Off-Peak Discount Offer by March 31, 2025. These offers were introduced in April 2024 to incentivize travel during holidays and off-peak hours. Accompanying these changes, SVIDA Mobility, the official first and last mile partner of Hyderabad Metro, has expanded its service. It now boasts a fleet of 200 feeder vehicles, serving over 16,000 commuters daily, to improve accessibility to and from metro stations.
NVS Reddy, the Managing Director of HMRL, highlighted the integration of cultural events such as Metro Fest, Metro Medley, and Art Fest into the metro's offerings. He stated, "By integrating cultural initiatives like Metro Fest, Metro Medley, and the Art Fest into our transit ecosystem, we are reinforcing the role of public transport as a space for public engagement, inclusivity, and civic pride. Such initiatives not only enhance the commuter experience but also align with our vision of making Hyderabad a global model for sustainable and vibrant urban mobility." These initiatives are viewed as a way to enrich the commuting experience while fostering a sense of community and civic pride among users.
KVB Reddy, MD & CEO of L&TMRHL, emphasized the technological advancements being made to enhance the metro's service. "The launch of the T-Savaari app and our revamped passenger website marks a significant step towards making Hyderabad Metro a digitally empowered transit system. These advancements reaffirm our commitment to continuous innovation and delivering world-class metro services to the city." This digital push is aimed at providing a more seamless and efficient travel experience for the city's residents.
