30-Year-Old Hyderabad Man Dies In Sleep, Blind Parents Remain Unaware for Four Days
A 30-year-old man from Hyderabad passed away in his sleep, leaving his visually impaired parents unknowingly living beside his body for four days. The tragic situation came to light after neighbors detected a foul odor and alerted the police on Monday (October 28).

The incident occurred in Blinds Colony, where the man's body was discovered in the home he shared with his elderly parents, both over the age of 60. When police arrived, they found the parents lying next to their son's body in a semi-conscious state.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the man likely died in his sleep about four or five days earlier. Unaware of his death, his parents repeatedly called to him for food and water but received no response, according to Nagole Station House Officer A Surya Nayak.
Nayak added that due to their frail voices, it's likely the parents were not heard by their neighbors. Police provided them with food and water and, after learning of an elder son living in another part of the city, notified him of the situation.
The man's body was transferred to a government hospital for a post-mortem examination, and a case has been registered for further investigation.
