Believe it or not: Jetman flies faster than jet planes!

Bangalore, Aug 3: We all know that jetplanes can fly at high speeds, but now even man can fly at the same speed or more than that of the jet aircrafts.

Fify-three-year-old pilot from Switzerland, Yves Rossy, popularly known as "Jetman" who can reach 12,000 ft and do 190mph in his custom-built engine suit, he is all gearing up for the air-show across America, which will be his first public appearance.

The "jetman" recently flew in his carbon-Kevlar jet wing with four engines next to a B17 bomber, reaching the speed of 190 mph.

Rossy spent more than a decade in designing the flight suit, which features a carbon-Kelvar wing and four jet engine.

The Swiss can go as high as 12,000 feet, but typically stays around 5,000 feet in order to execute aerial manoeuvrings.
