Sudhir Chakravarthy, an Instagram user, shared a video showing a train halted at a railway crossing, surrounded by waiting vehicles. The incident occurred at the Munnekolala railway gate near the Outer Ring Road, an area infamous for poor traffic management. In the video, the train appeared to be stuck due to the inability of the railway gates to close properly, likely caused by the heavy traffic.

Some reports speculated that a technical issue might have caused the train to stop. However, railway officials have clarified the situation.

Railway Officials Refute Traffic Jam Claims

Officials dismissed claims that traffic was to blame for the train's halt. According to a statement given to MoneyControl.com, the train was stopped by the loco pilot after hearing an unusual sound. As a precaution, the crew, including the assistant loco pilot and train manager, conducted a safety inspection. Contrary to online speculation, the train was not delayed due to a traffic jam. To prevent further congestion on the road, the gateman temporarily opened the level crossing gate while the inspection was carried out.
