Fact Check: Has Yash Officially Confirmed Shah Rukh Khan's Cameo In 'Toxic'? Here's The Truth
Rocking Star Yash is currently working on his upcoming movie 'Toxic', directed by Geetu Mohandas. Like his previous movies' KGF', his latest flick will be made in multiple languages.
As 'Toxic' set for pan-India makeover, there is a buzz doing rounds that Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has been approached for an extended cameo. As the speculation gained momentum on the internet, a video began circulating on social media sites, claiming that Yash has officially confirmed King Khan's involvement in his upcoming film.

In the video, a reporter is heard asking whether Yash is going to Bollywood. The actor responds, "I won't go anywhere. We have roped in people from Bollywood. I don't go anywhere, don't worry,"
This clip is being shared by netizens that he has given confirmation about working with Shah Rukh Khan. However, it is an old video being circulated by fans as his confirmation.
The truth is Yash made the statement on June 22, 2023.
Meanwhile, there are also rumours which claim that Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment is going to fund a project which will start Yash in a key role. Some unconfirmed reports have also claimed that the Kannada actor will be playing the role of Ravana in the Ramayan which will star Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi.
On the other hand, a source has claimed that the 'Pathaan' actor has been offered an extended cameo on 'Toxic'. A source told a Bollywood website: "Shah Rukh Khan is at the peak of his career and every director is looking to collaborate with him at the moment. Earlier in the year, Yash, Geetu Mohandas and Toxic makers approached Shah Rukh Khan for an extended cameo in the gangster-based actioner. It's an author-backed role and not one of those just added for a gimmick. There is a proper track for the character which has been offered to SRK, and the makers are hoping to have him on board,"
Nonetheless, Yash has not confirmed any project other than 'Toxic', as of now.
