Annabelle Doll Missing After New Orleans Fire? Haunted Doll's Tour Sparks Panic

Recently, social media has been buzzing with claims that the infamous Annabelle doll-linked by some users to several fires in New Orleans this month-has mysteriously disappeared. Some locals even claimed the doll was 'missing,' sparking panic and conspiracy theories, especially after a fire broke out at the historic Nottoway Plantation (now Nottoway Resort) in White Castle, Louisiana. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, and officials have firmly denied any connection between the fire and the Annabelle doll's paranormal tour in Louisiana.

Is the Annabelle Doll Missing After New Orleans Fire

The Annabelle doll, a notorious Raggedy Ann doll said to be possessed, is actually part of the Warrens Occult Museum in Connecticut. The museum had been hosting a paranormal tour featuring the doll, which likely fueled the rumors when locals reported not seeing it, mistakenly believing it was lost.

On social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter), users expressed alarm:

"I just saw a post on Facebook that they LOST THE ANNABELLE DOLL? I'm fleeing the country goodbye."

"THEY LOST THE ANNABELLE DOLL?? LIKE?? THE HAUNTED ANNABELLE DOLL?? They take her on a tour around America... AND THEN THEY LOOSE HER? BRAH?"

"wdym the annabelle doll is missing??? who tf lost her??? i was already not able to sleep 😭😭😭"

However, these rumors were quickly debunked by Dan Rivera from New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR). In a video filmed inside the Warrens Occult Museum, Rivera confirmed that the Annabelle doll remains safely housed there.

"Some wild and crazy internet rumors this morning claiming that we lost Annabelle. She/it is NOT lost and here's Dan Rivera with NESPR proving she is back home inside the museum in Connecticut... for now. And no, Annabelle is not supposed to be in Chicago," a caption accompanying the video clarified.
