Yuzvendra Chahal’s Cryptic Post Amid Divorce Proceedings With Dhanashree Verma
Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife, Dhanashree Verma, have reportedly filed for divorce, with news of their separation surfacing on social media for months. However, confirmation of the couple filing for divorce came only a few days ago. Reports suggested that their final hearing and necessary formalities took place at the Bandra Family Court, where both were physically present.
Dhanashree's lawyer, Aditi Mohan, addressed the ongoing speculation, stating that the proceedings were still underway and urging media outlets to verify facts before reporting. "I have no comments to make on the proceedings, as the matter is currently sub judice. The media should fact-check before reporting, as a lot of misleading information is being circulated," she said.

Amid the legal proceedings, Chahal shared a cryptic quote on Instagram on Friday, posting, "It's Chaos, Be Kind - Michelle McNamara." Meanwhile, rumors circulated that Dhanashree had demanded Rs 60 crore as alimony, a claim her family strongly denied. They urged the media to refrain from spreading misinformation and to respect their privacy.
"We are deeply outraged by the baseless claims being circulated about the alimony figure. Let me be absolutely clear-no such amount has ever been asked, demanded, or even offered. There is no truth to these rumors whatsoever. Publishing such unverified information is deeply irresponsible, dragging not just the parties but also their families into unnecessary speculation. Reckless reporting like this only causes harm, and we urge the media to exercise restraint and fact-check before spreading misinformation," the family's statement read.

Chahal later shared another social media post reflecting on faith, writing, "God has protected me more times than I can count. So I can only imagine the times I've been rescued that I don't even know about. Thank you, God, for always being there, even when I don't know it. Amen."
Dhanashree also posted a message about faith and positivity on Instagram. "From stressed to blessed. Isn't it amazing how God can turn our worries and trials into blessings? If you're stressing about something today, know that you have a choice. You can either keep worrying or surrender it all to God and choose to pray about everything. There is power in having faith that God can work all things together for your good," she wrote.
As speculation continues, both Chahal and Dhanashree have chosen to express themselves subtly through social media, while legal proceedings remain ongoing.
