Instagram influencer Anamika Bishnoi was killed by her estranged husband in Rajasthan's Phalodi on Sunday. He shot her dead in broad daylight inside a shop and the incident was captured on CCTV camera.

The viral video depicts the husband firing a bullet at his wife from an extremely close distance. The woman sustained a fatal injury to her neck during the attack, and reports suggest that she succumbed to the gunshot wound.

Who was Anamika Bishnoi?

Anamika Bishnoi was an Instagram influencer with a huge fan following. She was very active on social media site, frequently sharing reels and videos documenting her daily life.

Particularly noteworthy were her reels featuring Rajasthani traditional attire, which often went viral, earning her praise for promoting Rajasthani culture.

As far as her marriage life is concerned, Anamika Bishnoi got married to Mahiram Bishnoi almost 13 years ago. He is a resident of Bikaner, Nagarasar.

However, their relationship had strained five years ago and they had been living separately for almost 5 years, and their two sons, aged 9 and 12, also lived with him.

He used to run a medical shop, and she had filed a case of dowry harassment against him. After the dispute, Anamika moved out of her husband's house and started a cosmetic and ladies' wear shop, where she was eventually killed.

Just moments before her death, she was apparently seen interacting with her followers while accompanied by her child. In the video, viewers can be seen greeting her with warm messages like "Hello" and "Ram Ram," to which she responds cheerfully while holding her child.

It is believed that this was her last Instagram Live appearance.

The motive behind the murder has not been revealed, yet.
