Adding to the growing buzz, actor Sanvikaa, who plays Rinki in the series, has confirmed that the next season is actively in development. She revealed that the writing process has already begun.
Sharing details about the timeline, she said: "The process for Panchayat Season 5 has begun, and hopefully, maybe by mid-next year or sometime in next year, it will be released. And we are likely to begin the shoot for season 5, maybe at the end of this year or next year, so writing has started. So once the writing is done, we will start shooting."
As per her the actress, the next season is expected in mid-2026. It means they can expect it around May or June.
The series features Jitendra Kumar in the lead role, supported by acclaimed actors Neena Gupta and Raghubir Yadav, among others. Created by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Chandan Kumar-who has also penned the script-Panchayat is directed by Akshat Vijaywargiya and Mishra, and produced by The Viral Fever.
