Urvashi Rautela's Remuneration For Daaku Maharaaj: How Much Did Makers Pay Her To Act In Balakrishna-Starrer?
The buzz around Daaku Maharaaj has taken a fresh turn with reports of Netflix reportedly editing out Urvashi Rautela's portions from the OTT version. While this has left fans surprised, another revelation has now grabbed headlines - Urvashi was paid an eye-watering sum for her role in the film.
Urvashi Rautela Is Daaku Maharaaj's Attraction

The Bollywood diva played an important character in the film, apart from setting the screen on fire with the song Dabidi Dibidi, where her chemistry with Balakrishna became one of the film's biggest talking points. The song turned into a viral sensation, amassing millions of views online and dominating music charts. Her presence in the movie was one of the attractions in the Telugu movie, making her absence from the OTT version all the more baffling for her fans.
Urvashi Rautela's Remuneration For Daaku Maharaaj
So, how much did Urvashi Rautela earn for her role in Daaku Maharaaj?
As per the reports, Urvashi was paid a staggering Rs 2.5 crore for her role. Despite having limited screen time, her presence in the Dabidi Dibidi song was a major highlight, making her one of the highest-paid actresses for a special appearance in a Telugu film.
This isn't the first time Urvashi has made waves in Tollywood. Earlier, she was seen in a special song in the hit Boss Party song in Waltair Veerayya. Her performance with Chiranjeevi had won the hearts of the masses.
However, the latest reports about her scenes being removed from the OTT version have shocked fans. According to NDTV, Netflix has removed Urvashi's portions. However, the streaming giant has not confirmed the development.
The controversy started earlier when the official streaming announcement poster was released, omitting Urvashi despite her pivotal role in the movie's success. While actors like Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, and Shraddha Srinath were featured in the promotional material, Urvashi was nowhere to be seen, sparking discussions on social media.
With Daaku Maharaaj set to premiere on Netflix on Friday, February 21, it remains to be seen whether the OTT version will be revised to include her scenes or if fans will have to settle for the theatrical version to witness her electrifying presence.
