The Sabarmati Report Goes Tax-Free
Directed by Dheeraj Sarna, The Sabarmati Report has sparked significant controversy. However, it has also received praise from a section of viewers, with accolades for its star cast and production team. Now, Madhya Pradesh's Chief Minister, Dr. Mohan Yadav, has announced that the film will be made tax-free in the state.
At a press conference, the Chief Minister shared his thoughts on Vikrant Massey's film: "The Sabarmati Report is an exceptional film, and I intend to watch it in theatres. Along with this, we have decided to make the film tax-free in our state. We've also urged our cabinet leaders to view the movie. The reason for this decision is to ensure that more people watch the film and understand the truth behind the incident."
Making a film tax-free typically boosts its box office revenue as ticket prices are lowered, attracting larger audiences to theatres.
