Thamma (Thama) Box Office Collection Day 3: Ayushmann-Rashmika Horror-Comedy Film Sees Fall, Weekend Crucial

Thamma, the latest entrant in Maddock Films' popular horror-comedy universe, continues to perform steadily at the box office. After a strong opening weekend, the film has collected ₹55.56 crore net in India within just four days of its release.

The horror-comedy, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, opened to a bumper response on day one but saw a gradual dip in collections over the next few days.

According to real-time data from Sacnilk, Thamma earned ₹55.17 crore net in India in its first three days, maintaining decent hold through the extended weekend.

Directed under the Maddock Films banner, Thamma features Ayushmann Khurrana as Alok Gupta and Rashmika Mandanna as Tadaka, blending supernatural elements with humour and action. Nawazuddin Siddiqui also appears in a notable role as a vampire, adding depth to the film's dark comedy tone.

With its impressive start and consistent collections, Thamma has emerged as Maddock Films' strongest opener in recent years, further strengthening the studio's streak in the horror-comedy genre.

Meanwhile, with Friday being a working day, Thamma (Thama) film is expected to see a further dip in collections. Thamma is reportedly made on a budget of Rs. 140-145 crore, so the film will need a boost at the box office over the weekend (Saturday, Sunday). Any further decline in collections could be a worrying sign for its overall performance.

It will, however, be interesting to watch if they manage to pick up and earn well over the weekend.
