Suriya-Jyothika In Udupi; Perform Chandika Yaga At Kollur Mookambika Temple

Renowned Tamil actor Suriya and his wife, actress Jyothika, were spotted at the Kollur Mookambika Temple in Udupi's Baindoor taluk on Tuesday.

The couple performed the Chandika Yaja, a sacred ritual seeking divine intervention and blessings, reports in the Kannada media claim. The visit to the famed Hindu temple, a spiritual hub for countless devotees, comes amidst a challenging phase in Suriya's career.

Suriya's latest film, Kanguva, directed by Siva and co-written by Adhi Narayana, has been a topic of much debate. An ambitious epic fantasy action-adventure, the movie features a stellar cast including Suriya, Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, and Yogi Babu. Despite its visually stunning sequences and Suriya's compelling performance, the film has faced criticism for its pacing and storytelling.
