Shruti Haasan’s Hollywood Debut: 'The Eye' Premieres In Mumbai On This Day—Here’s Why It’s A Must-Watch
Daughter of Kamal Hassan, Shruti Haasan has once again showcased her remarkable talent, this time on an international stage. The actress, known for her performances in pan-Indian films, is now set to make her Hollywood debut with the psychological thriller The Eye.' The British film, starring Mark Rowley opposite her, has just released its trailer, and it is evident that Shruti has delivered yet another stellar performance.
The gripping 1-minute, 57-second trailer introduces Shruti as Diana, a woman whose holiday takes a tragic turn when her husband, Felix, drowns under mysterious circumstances. As she struggles to come to terms with the loss, her grief soon turns into intrigue when she discovers a strange ritual known as the 'Evil Eye.'
The film appears to explore a chilling psychological journey, hinting at an unsettling sacrifice that may bring the dead back to life. Directed by Daphne Schmon, 'The Eye' promises an eerie and thought-provoking experience for viewers.
Apart from the intriguing storyline, Shruti's unique look in the film has also caught the audience's attention.
