Sanoj Mishra Treats Me Like a Daughter: Monalisa Bhosle Defends Director Against Allegations
The shooting of The Diary of Manipur, the film set to launch Monalisa Bhosle, has been halted following allegations against its director, Sanoj Mishra. Producer Jitender Narayan Singh, also known as Waseem Rizvi, has accused Mishra of fraud, deception, and exploiting aspiring actresses by falsely promising them roles in films.
Singh claimed that Mishra, whom he called a habitual fraudster and alcoholic, has misled several women in the past and is now taking advantage of Monalisa's newfound fame. He alleged that Mishra has been profiting by sending Monalisa to various promotional events under the guise of "training" her for acting. Singh has also warned Monalisa's family to be cautious of Mishra's intentions.

Monalisa Bhosle, a young woman from a humble background, gained widespread attention last month when a photograph of her selling Rudraksha beads at the Kumbh Mela went viral. Her captivating smile and striking features turned her into an internet sensation overnight. Following her sudden rise to fame, she received modeling offers, appeared in advertisements, and made glamorous appearances at promotional events.
Meanwhile, Sanoj Mishra has firmly denied the allegations made by producer Jitendra Narayan Singh, calling them baseless and misleading. He said that Monalisa is only 15 and a half years old, while his own daughter is 18, stressing that his intentions were purely to mentor and support her. Addressing the controversy, Sanoj urged people not to believe the rumors about Monalisa's safety. He revealed that despite her sudden fame from the viral Kumbh Mela photo, she faced financial struggles and was forced to return home, with no real support from those who once celebrated her.
Monalisa Responds to Concerns
Amid growing concerns, Monalisa recently released a video statement assuring people that she is safe. She mentioned that she is currently undergoing acting training in Madhya Pradesh while also continuing her studies. She defended Sanoj Mishra, stating that he has been treating her like a daughter and that there is no need to worry about her well-being.
