Ramesh Aravind, Kannada Actors Insulted At Santosham Awards In Goa
Kannada film personalities including noted actor-filmmaker Ramesh Aravind was reportedly humiliated at Santosham South Indian Film Awards 2023.
The organisers insulted Ramesh Aravind by switching off lights when he took stage and the event came to an abrupt end, as per a tweet posted by journalist A Sharadhaa. The awards ceremony was held at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium in Goa.

Only a single award each was presented to the Kranti and Veda teams. As Ramesh Aravid took the stage, the organizers reportedly switched off the lights, leading the anchor to exit and instructing Kannada actors to leave.
If it was not enough, those who attended the event found themselves without arranged accommodations. Ramesh Aravind, B Suresha, Shylaja Nag, Vani Harikrishna, A Harsha and Ragini Dwivedi along with other film personalities encountered challenges during the hotel check-out process.
Organizers had not settled the bills and had locked the rooms. However, the police intervention became necessary for them to finally depart for the airport.
