Poonam Pandey’s Mahakumbh Photos Stir Instagram: ‘Paap Dhoye Nahi Jaate’

Poonam Pandey attended the Mahakumbh 2025, where she participated in a holy dip and shared her experiences through photos and videos on Instagram. The outspoken personality shared her thoughts on the spiritual occasion, stating:

"Mahakumbh... Witnessing life up close, where a 70-year-old walks barefoot for hours, where faith knows no limits. Feeling deeply for those who lost their lives, hoping they find moksh. The devotion here has left me speechless," she wrote on Instagram.

However, her visit sparked mixed reactions on social media. Some users were not pleased with her participation:

"Tumhaare paap aise hain jo kabhi dhoye nahi jaa sakte (Your sins are such that can never be washed away)," one commenter wrote.

"Sau choohe khaake billi chali Hajj (The cat went for Hajj after eating a hundred rats)," quipped another user.

Despite the backlash, some expressed their support for Poonam Pandey's visit:

"Prayagraj mein aapka swagat hai (Welcome to Prayagraj)," one follower commented.

"Aapke sab paap samaapt hue... Ek nai shuruaat ki ummeed hai mujhe... Kya aapke aacharanon mein badlav nazar aayega (All your sins end here... I hope for a new beginning...Will there be a change in your behavior?)," another user remarked.

Who is Poonam Pandey?

Poonam Pandey first grabbed headlines in 2011 when she vowed to strip if India won the cricket World Cup. Despite India's victory, she later stated that she was unable to follow through on her promise due to restrictions imposed by the BCCI.

Since then, Poonam has gained a reputation for posting bold and provocative content on social media. In 2014, she faced a police complaint for allegedly distributing obscenity online.

She is also said to be active on OnlyFans, a platform recognized for its exclusive, often explicit content. In a peculiar stunt, her team mistakenly announced her death in 2023, which they later clarified was a publicity ploy to raise awareness about cervical cancer-a move that attracted significant criticism.
