The grand finale of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 8, held on Sunday, has sparked controversy among fans as Nikhil emerged as the winner, leaving many supporters of Gautham disappointed.

Online polls leading up to the finale had consistently shown Gautham as the favourite to win the coveted trophy. However, Nikhil's victory came as a surprise to many viewers, prompting mixed reactions online.

One fan voiced their frustration, saying, "Nikhil is cunning. He fooled Yashmi by playing with emotions and started a fake gameplay. His rude behaviour in tasks like the water tank game doesn't reflect a deserving winner. This season lacked realism, and no wonder the TRP ratings have dropped."

Another viewer stated, "Gautham is the real winner, not Nikhil."

A third fan echoed this sentiment, adding, "Gautham deserved the title. He's the true winner for the audience."

Several fans accused the show of bias. One user wrote, "Congratulations, Gautham 🏆💐🫶! You are the audience's winner. Nikhil's victory was orchestrated by Star Maa." Another added, "Everyone knows Bigg Boss had a fixed winner. Gautham was the most deserving. This show fools the public."

Despite the backlash, Bigg Boss Telugu continues to remain a popular reality show, albeit with its share of controversies.
