No Father Deserves This: Ravi Mohan Slams Estranged Wife Aarti, Accuses Her Family Of Draining His Wealth
Days after his estranged wife Aarti Ravi publicly accused him of abandonment, actor Ravi Mohan aka Jayam Ravi has issued a detailed two-page statement, breaking his silence over the controversy surrounding his personal life. In the emotional letter, the actor opened up about years of alleged abuse, his painful decision to end the marriage, and the ongoing custody battle over his children. He also addressed rumors involving Kenishaa Francis, defending her role in his life.
What's In Ravi Mohan's Letter?
Ravi described his silence until now as a matter of survival, not weakness, and stated that he was compelled to respond after being "publicly vilified with false accusations." He strongly denied claims of neglect and financial harassment, asserting that he had endured "years of physical, emotional, mental, and financial abuse" during his marriage, including being isolated from his own parents.

"I finally found the strength to walk away from a life that had become unlivable," Ravi wrote. "Silence is being mistaken for guilt. I categorically deny these fabricated claims."
He accused Aarti Ravi and her family of manipulating public sympathy for financial gain and control, claiming that his access to his children has been systematically blocked. According to the actor, apart from a single court-mandated visit during Christmas, he has had no contact with his children and learned of their recent car accident only when his signature was required for insurance paperwork.
"No father deserves this," he said. "I live with hope that my children will know the truth and the strength it took for me to walk away."
In the letter, Ravi also addressed his association with Kenishaa Francis, who had been speculated to be the cause of his marital rift. Refuting those rumors, Ravi stated that Kenishaa entered his life as a friend and source of strength during his lowest moments.
"She stood by me on the night I left my own home barefoot, in a night suit, stripped of everything," he recounted. "Kenishaa carries light. She didn't save me for fame, but out of empathy." In a scathing critique, Ravi also took aim at Aarti Ravi's family, accusing them of creating false narratives and using media pressure to influence legal outcomes related to child custody and finances.
"Healing should happen in courtrooms, not on social media," he said, lamenting what he described as a trial by public opinion.
The actor concluded by reaffirming his faith in the legal system and his resolve to reclaim his voice and dignity.
Last year, the actor, in a press release, had announced about seeking a separation from Aarti to which the latter had responded with a letter saying that she wanted to patch things up with him. They had tied the knot in 2009 and have two children - Aarav and Ayaan.
