Sharing the moment on Instagram, Milind posted a series of pictures capturing his spiritual experience. In the images, he is seen wearing a yellow dhoti while taking the sacred dip.

Alongside the photos, he reflected on the significance of the occasion, writing: "Blessed to be at the Mahakumbh with @ankita_earthy on the very special day of Mauni Amavasya! Such a spiritual space and experience reminds me of how small and insignificant I am in the vastness of existence and how every moment that we are here is so special. Even though my heart is full, I am saddened by the events of last night, and my prayers are with the families who lost loved ones. Har Har Gange! Har Har Mahadev!!"

His message also included condolences for the victims of the tragic stampede that occurred early Wednesday morning.

Hema Malini Takes A Dip

Veteran actor-turned-politician Hema Malini also marked the occasion by taking a ritualistic dip at the Sangam. Expressing her gratitude, the BJP MP stated, "It is my good fortune that I got the opportunity to take a 'snan' on this auspicious day."

Several other celebrities, including Sunil Grover, Kabir Khan, Guru Randhawa, Avinash Tiwary, Mamta Kulkarni, and Anupam Kher, have also joined the grand religious gathering.

According to the Uttar Pradesh Information Department, over 45.11 lakh pilgrims had visited the Mahakumbh by 8 a.m. on Thursday. More than 10 lakh Kalpwasis are currently present at the Sangam, while the total count of devotees taking a holy dip on Thursday morning crossed 55.11 lakh.

Since the commencement of the Mahakumbh, the cumulative number of devotees performing the sacred 'snan' has exceeded 275 million as of January 29, coinciding with Mauni Amavasya. Authorities have ramped up arrangements to manage the massive crowds and provide seamless facilities for pilgrims.
