Kareena Kapoor Follows Christianity: Taimur's Ex-Nanny

Lalita D'Silva, the former nanny of Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan's sons Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan, has opened up about the actress's parenting style and spiritual beliefs.

She revealed that Kareena follows Christianity and she used to often ask her to play hymns for their sons to maintain a positive environment.

In an interview, Lalita Dsilva said, "Kareena Kapoor follows Christianity. She would tell me 'If you like hymns, you play hymns'. I used to also play Ik Onkar too as she liked that."

Lalita added that Kareena believes in creating a positive atmosphere around her children from the beginning. "Kareena knows the importance of having a positive environment around kids," she said.

She continued, "Because she (Kareena) also knows that yeh positivity honi zaroori hoti hai bacho ke aas paas. Theek hai ye aapki choice hoti hai... but bacho ka right from the beginning agar aap positive vibes se start karo upbringing toh woh unme already inbred ho jati hai (Kareena knows the importance of having a positive environment around kids. Of course you have a choice, but if you maintain positivity from the start, it becomes a part of the children)."

Lalita Dsilva now works for Ram Charan and his wife Upasana's daughter Klin Kaara. In an interview with Hindustan Times, she praised Kareena's parenting skills. "Kareena is an amazing mother; she is so disciplined, and her kids are also similar. Saif is very much hands-on with his kids," she said.

As the clip went viral, a Reddit post titled 'Bebo follows Christianity' triggered a debate. One user mentioned seeing Kareena and her family at Mount Mary Church multiple times. Another commented on the diverse religious practices within the family, noting that they celebrate various festivals like Rakhi, Diwali, and Eid.

A user commented: "I thought this was a well known thing, I have seen Kareena, Karisma, Malaika and Amirta Arora along with their mothers at Mount Mary Church many times. The second user said: "Yes and every Wednesday Kareena , Karishma , Neetu Singh would be seen in Mahim church for novenas spclly noon time where there would be hardly any crowd .... even Helen would come same time ..."

One netizen claimed, "Isn't it well known since ages? Her mom is a Christian and both the sisters would be photographed at Mount Mary during the mass every Christmas and it would be printed on page 3 of Bombay Times."
