Kapil Sharma's Kaps Cafe in Surrey, Canada, was targeted by gunfire for the third time in four months. The attack occurred late Wednesday, with gangsters Goldy Dhillon and Kuldeep Sidhu, linked to mob boss Lawrence Bishnoi, claiming responsibility on social media. A video from inside a vehicle showed a man firing multiple shots from a handgun.

The first attack on Kaps Cafe happened on July 10 while employees were still present. Fortunately, no one was injured, but at least ten bullets hit a cafe window. Harjit Singh Laddi of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) claimed responsibility for this incident. BKI is recognised as a terrorist group by Canada.

Gangsters' Warning and Social Media Claims

Dhillon and Sidhu posted online after the latest shooting, warning the public to stay away. They stated, "I, Kuldeep Sidhu, and Goldy Dhillon take responsibility for the three shootings that took place (at Kaps Caffe). We have no enmity with the general public." They also warned those who oppose religion in Bollywood to be cautious.

The second attack occurred on August 8 when over 25 shots were fired. A voice in the video mentioned calling the target without response, leading to action being taken. This prompted increased security outside Sharma's Mumbai residence due to threats of further actions.

Background of Attacks and Community Impact

After the initial incident, it was reported that a participant at Sharma's show made remarks about Nihang Sikhs' traditional dress and conduct, offending some community members. Despite these attacks, Kaps Cafe remains committed to opposing violence and maintaining its welcoming atmosphere for visitors.

The gangsters' message also included a threat towards those involved in illegal activities who fail to pay their dues. They warned such individuals to be prepared for consequences.

Harjit Singh Laddi is listed on India's National Investigation Agency's most-wanted list. His involvement highlights the international dimension of these attacks and their connection to larger networks.
