Is Priyanka Mohan Marrying Jayam Ravi After His Divorce With Aarti? Here's What 'Brothers' Actress Claims

A photo from Priyanka Mohan's upcoming Tamil movie 'Brothers' had paved way for the rumours of marriage.

In the viral photo, they are seen tying the knot. However, once it was revealed that it was a movie still, speculations started doing rounds that they are in a relationship.

Priyanka Mohan Marrying Jayam Ravi

Putting an end to all the rumours, Priyanka Mohan said, "Jayam Ravi and I worked together in Brother, and the photo that was released was just a still from the film. The makers released it, and some people from the industry congratulated me, thinking it was my engagement photo."

She also expressed her disappointment over the makers for releasing the still without a proper context which lead to all the confusions. "It was just a film still, and I wish the team hadn't released it without clarifying its context," Priyanka added.

The photo had created an uproar as it appeared when Jayam Ravi had announced divorce from his wife Aarti.

In September, Jayam Ravi announced his divorce from wife Aarti after 18 years of marriage. He announced the news on X (formerly known as Twitter) citing "personal reasons." His wife Aarti gave a dramatic turn as she claimed that she had not given her consent for their separation and expressed her wish to patch up with him.

Later, Bengaluru-based singer and spiritual therapist was dragged into the issue linking her relationship to his divorce.

Meanwhile, Jayam Ravi, talking about the separation, told a publication: "Everything I do is highlighted. People love cinema and enjoy talking about actors, so it's futile to judge them for it."

On dealing the negative reports, Jayam Ravi said, "Some mature people don't do that. I can't control others' actions, but I know my truth, so I focus on that."
