Their pilgrimage commenced with a visit to the Shivanasamudra in the Kollegala taluk of Chamarajanagara district, where they engaged in special prayers.

The couple offered their respects to the Cauvery river through a traditional ritual known as 'bagina', followed by worship at the Ganapati temple, Madhyaranga, and the Meenakshi Sametha Someshwara temples.
