'Devara' 3-Day Box Office Collection: Junior NTR-Starrer On Fire In Hyderabad, Bengaluru

Junior NTR's much-awaited film 'Devara - Part 1' has got a flying start at the box office. The movie, which was released on Friday, has shown strong performance through its opening weekend, already amassing an estimated Rs 120.7 crore India net within its first two days.

The Telugu version has done well with Hyderabad leading in audience occupancy. The city recorded a staggering 79% occupancy across 861 shows from the morning, matinee and evening shows, while Bengaluru had a more moderate but still solid 51.33% occupancy from 682 shows. Chennai fared well with 67.67% occupancy across 106 shows.

In Andhra Pradesh, 'Devara' performed exceptionally well. Vijayawada had an impressive 80.33% occupancy across 161 shows, followed by Warangal with 72.33% occupancy from 50 shows. In Guntur, the film registered a remarkable 86% occupancy from 87 shows, while Vizag-Visakhapatnam saw 77.67% occupancy from 218 shows.

When broken down by language, the movie's Telugu version had an overall 66.71% occupancy on Sunday, with a surge in attendance during the Afternoon Shows (75.29%) and Evening Shows (74.63%).

The film's Hindi version saw a more tempered response, with overall 28.05% occupancy on Sunday. However, occupancy gradually increased throughout the day, from 13.85% in the Morning Shows to 37.79% in the Evening Shows.

The Kannada version had a better reception, recording 33.50% overall occupancy on Sunday, with the highest being in the afternoon shows (38.55%) and evening shows (37.32%).

In Tamil, 'Devara' achieved 32.95% overall occupancy on Sunday, with audience turnout peaking in the evening shows (39.12%).

As 'Devara - Part 1' continues its run at the box office, its strong weekend performance and positive word of mouth suggest that the film is set to maintain its momentum in the coming days. With Junior NTR's captivating performance and an exciting storyline, the movie is poised to be one of the year's biggest hits.
