Deepika Padukone Makes First Public Appearance After Pregnancy Confirmation

Hours after making Deepika Padukone's pregnancy news official, she was spotted alongside her husband and actor Ranveer Singh in public.

Ranveer and Deepika were spotted in Mumbai and Jamnagar airports on Thursday evening. The expectant parents, charmingly coordinated in white attire, were en route to attend the pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar.

This was her first public appearance since the news of her pregnancy was announced by them on Thursday.

Days after rumours circulated on social media about Padukone's pregnancy, triggered by her photographed midsection coverage at the 77th BAFTA Awards where she appeared as a presenter, the news was confirmed in an Instagram post.

The couple revealed that the baby is expected in September 2024, as indicated by the picture adorned with baby shoes and clothing.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Shreya Ghoshal, Vikrant Massey, and Alia Bhatt are some of the notable personalities who extended their congratulations to the couple. Priyanka commented "Mubarak" on Deepika and Ranveer's post, while Alia expressed her joy with a series of heart emojis. Ghoshal conveyed her excitement and happiness for the couple, adding "Many congratulations." Vikrant wrote, "Bahut bahut shubhkamnaen aap dono ko!!"

Deepika and Ranveer exchanged vows in a private wedding ceremony in 2018 at Lake Como, Italy. On the professional front, the duo is set to make a special appearance in the Rohit Shetty-directed 'Singham Again,' starring Ajay Devgn.
