'Bramayugam' Box Office Collection - Day 1: Mammootty's Film Gets Good Opening In Kerala

Mammootty's new movie 'Bramayugam' has been received well by the audience. The Malayalam film was released on Thursday and garnered positive reviews.

The Malayalam film, shown in over 200 theaters across Kerala, achieved an overall occupancy rate of 46.52 per cent on its opening day.

During morning screenings, the estimated occupancy was 41.44 per cent, followed by a slightly lower rate of 33.89 per cent during the afternoon shows. Evening shows saw an occupancy of 46.46 per cent, while night shows had the highest occupancy at 64.27 per cent, according to Sacnik.

In Kerala, Kochi has the highest number of shows for 'Bramayugam' where the movie registered an overall 69 per cent occupancy. It is followed by Trivandrum (40 per cent from 115 shows), Kozhikode(67.25 per cent from 56 shows) and Thrissur (53.25 per cent from 52 shows).

Outside Kerala, Mammootty's film enjoyed good response in Bengaluru where it had 158 shows. However, the overall occupancy stood at 27.25 per cent.

In Chennai, the film had 45 shows out of which it had 42.50 per cent occupancy. Whereas in Hyderabad, the movie had 37 per cent occupancy from 12 shows.

In the NCR, it had 16 shows and had 43 per cent occupancy. In Mumbai, the film had 18 shows and got 35.67 per cent occupancy.

First Day Collection

As per the trade reports, the movie has earned Rs 3.65 crore at the Kerala box office. The estimated collection across the country is over Rs 7 crore.

'Bramayugam' is a horror thriller, directed by Rahul Sadasivan. The movie had Arjun Ashokan, Sidharth Bharathan and others in the cast. The movie has opened to highly positive reviews.
