Stand-up comedian and Big Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui is once again facing legal issues after a complaint was filed against him for disrespecting and hurting religious sentiments. The complaint accuses him of offending religious sentiments through his show "Hafta Vasooli" on JioHotstar. Advocate Amita Sachdeva shared the complaint details on X, alleging that the show promotes obscenity and insults various religions.
The complaint, shared by Advocate Amita Sachdeva, includes screenshots of an email requesting an FIR under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) Sections 196, 299, and 353. It also cites the IT Act and other relevant laws. The allegations claim that the OTT show disrespects multiple religions, undermines cultural values, and negatively impacts young minds and society.

"Complaint Filed Against Munawar Faruqui (@munawar0018)! The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has also voiced their concerns about the show. They posted on X demanding a ban on "Hafta Vasooli." Public Reactions
Amita Sachdeva mentioned that if no action is taken regarding her complaint against Munawar Faruqui's show, she plans to approach the court to ensure justice is served. She intends to submit the complaint physically and send it via speed post as well.
