3 BHK OTT Release: Here's When Siddharth's Tamil Film Is Likely To Release Online

Well, it looks like Siddharth and Sarath Kumar's movie, 3 BHK, did not set the box office on fire. After opening on July 4, this Tamil flick just barely scraped past the ₹10-crore mark (nett) over its first weekend.

It actually had a pretty decent start, raking in ₹1.15 crore on day one, then ₹1.9 crore on day two, and ₹2.15 crore on day three. By the end of its first week, it had made ₹7.68 crore (nett).

Now, it seems like 3 BHK might be seeing fewer shows in theaters soon, and honestly, it wouldn't be shocking if the makers just push for an early OTT release.

For those who don't know, 3 BHK is a coming-of-age family drama directed by Sri Ganesh. Siddharth and R Sarath Kumar lead the cast, with solid support from Chaithra J Achar, Devayani, Yogi Babu, Subbu Panchu, and Vivek Prasanna. The film also features Amrit Ramnath's music, Ganesh Siva's editing, and cinematography by Dinesh B. Krishnan and Jithin Stanislaus.

The story itself is quite heartwarming, following a middle-class family's dream of owning a home. It's packed with emotions, strong performances, great music, and a really engaging screenplay that should've made it a memorable watch.

Despite all those good reviews, the movie just couldn't ignite the box office.

And now, the latest buzz is that it might be hitting OTT as early as August 7th! Apparently, Disney+ Hotstar has the digital rights. But, keep in mind, there's no official word on this yet.
