Tamil Nadu Weather Alert: 10 Districts To Get Heavy Rains For Next 2 Days
At least 10 districts in Tamil Nadu are set to receive heavy rains on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to a statement from the Regional Meteorological Centre.
The Ghat regions in Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Theni, Dindigul, Nilgiris, Erode, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, and Tirupattur districts are expected to experience heavy rainfall over the next two days.

Isolated heavy rains are also likely in Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Ramanathapuram, Tenkasi, Virudhunagar, Madurai, and surrounding districts on Thursday.
On Saturday and Sunday, heavy rain is forecast for isolated places across Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai, Ramanathapuram, Sivagangai, Pudukkottai, Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari, Tenkasi, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Theni, Dindigul, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Nilgiris, and parts of Puducherry and Karaikal.
Meanwhile, Chennai's sky is expected to be partly cloudy with light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning in some areas. The maximum temperature is projected to be around 34°C, with a minimum temperature of 26°C.
The weather agency also reported that Vint Worth Estate in the Nilgiris recorded the highest rainfall at 10 cm, followed by Taluk Office Pandalur in the Nilgiris and Varattupallam in Erode, each receiving 7 cm.
