Tamil Nadu SSLC Exam Results 2025: TN Class 10 Results To Be Out Next Week
Tamil Nadu SSLC Results 2025: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) is expected to release the SSLC (Class 10) results for 2025 by May 19, although an official confirmation is still awaited.
Over 9.13 lakh students appeared for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) exams this year, conducted across 4,113 exam centres in the state between March 28 and April 15, 2025.

Among the registered candidates, 4,46,471 are boys and 4,40,499 are girls. Additionally, 12,487 private candidates also registered for the exams. Subjects covered include Part I (Language), Part II (English), Part III (Mathematics, Science, Social Science), and Part IV (Optional Language). Practical exams were conducted in February at the respective schools.
To qualify, students must score at least 35% marks in each subject. Those who fail in one or more subjects will be eligible to appear for compartmental exams.
Previous Trends
In 2024, the SSLC results were declared on May 10, while in 2023, they were announced on May 19. Last year, the overall pass percentage was 91.55%, a slight improvement of 0.16% from the year before.
Rechecking and Supplementary Exams
Post result declaration, students will have the option to apply to recheck or retotalle their answer scripts. The DGE will also conduct supplementary exams for those who do not pass in the main exams.

Tamil Nadu Class 12 Results 2025 Highlights
The DGE conducted the Class 12 (HSC +2) exams from March 3 to 25, with over 8 lakh students appearing this year. The results were released on May 6 via tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in.
