Fake News On Ex-Union Minister Napoleon's Son Dhanoosh: Complaint Filed

Dr. Daniel Raja, Chief Medical Officer at Myopathy Hospital, has filed an official complaint with the Tirunelveli Superintendent of Police, condemning the spread of false online rumors regarding Dhanoosh, the elder son of actor and former Union Minister Napoleon Duraisamy.

The complaint calls for swift action against those circulating damaging claims on social media. These baseless allegations suggest that Dhanoosh, who has battled muscular dystrophy since childhood, is unfit for married life-a claim that has deeply upset the family.

Dr Daniel claimed that the Jeevan Foundation runs Myopathy Hospital, a charitable organisation founded by Napoleon. He described the online speculations as entirely untrue and harmful that has caused deep emotional distress to the former minister' family and demoralised the staff and volunteers.

If the baseless rumours are not stopped, it could harm the hard-earned reputation of the organisation.

Dhanoosh married Akshaya in a grand traditional Hindu wedding held in Japan on November 11, 2024. Due to his condition, Dhanoosh was unable to perform the ritual of tying the wedding chain (thali) himself, and his mother assisted him in completing the ceremony.

Diagnosed at a young age with muscular dystrophy-a condition that gradually restricted his mobility-Dhanoosh's health journey led Napoleon to explore alternative treatments through Siddha medicine. The family eventually relocated to the United States to support Dhanoosh's medical needs and personal aspirations.
